About Me

 

It started out as a dream inspired by the video games and cartoons I had the pleasure of experiencing a decade ago. I desired to become like the cartoonists and video game developers who wowed me with their works.

This was only a dream in my late elementary school or middle school years. As time passed, that bright-minded me became a past. With new responsibilities and new experiences came new goals. The childhood dream I had was clouded out and eventually put aside, and faded gradually. Yet the inner spark remained in some corner, always finding new outlets for exercising that passion.

The class I took last year, titled "Fantasy Worldbuilding," was the first opportunity in a long time to reignite that long-forgotten dream of mine. The course's semester-long objective of creating a fantasy world was what I needed to finally bring out that inner cartoon-loving boy of mine. In a stage in life where the meaning of being an adult is further pushed onto me, I find a welcoming breath of fresh air in an inner world of a creative passion that I can enjoy in secret.
